Community Guidelines

At EWIS+ Ally, we are building a space where professional growth, allyship, and AI-driven precision meet. To ensure this community remains a safe and productive environment for everyone, we require all “Members” and “Allies” to uphold these core principles.

Applies to everyone

• Zero Tolerance for Harassment: We do not tolerate discrimination, hate speech, or harassment of any kind based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or age.
• Professionalism & Respect: Every interaction — whether via our AI preparation tools or during the “Ally Chat” — must be conducted with professional courtesy.
• Privacy & Trust: What happens in a match stays in a match. You may not record, screenshot, or share the contents of a chat or another user’s profile without explicit written consent.

As an “Ally”, I agree to:

• Professionalism & Preparedness: I will utilize the AI-generated preparation materials to ensure I am ready for each chat and will arrive on time for all scheduled sessions.
• Empathetic Allyship: I will provide guidance that is supportive, constructive, and respectful of the Member’s career stage and background.
• Confidentiality: I will treat all information shared by the Member during the “Ally Chat” as strictly confidential. I will not record sessions on personal devices or share Member details outside the platform.
• Zero Tolerance for Misconduct: I will not engage in any form of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior.
• No Solicitation: I will not use EWIS+ Ally to solicit Members for external business ventures, pyramid schemes, or unauthorized third-party services.
• Transparency: I will not impersonate any other person or misrepresent my credentials, education, or work experience.

As a “Member”, I agree to:

• Respectful Interaction: I understand that Allies are here to support my growth. I will remain professional and respectful at all times during the “Ally Chat.”
• Safe Space Commitment: I will not use the platform to harass, threaten, or abuse Allies. I understand that EWIS+ Ally has a Zero Tolerance Policy for misconduct.
• Honest Feedback: I will provide truthful justifications if I request a match credit or refund. I will not attempt to “game” the AI matching system to receive more than my allotted monthly matches.
• Privacy of the Ally: I will not record the “Ally Chat” without explicit permission and will not share the Ally’s personal contact information or private details with third parties.
• No Commercial Misuse: I will not use the platform to “headhunt” Allies for unauthorized employment or to scrape data from the service.

We take these guidelines seriously.

• Reporting: If you experience or witness behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately to hello@elevatewomeninstem.com.
• Monitoring: EWIS+ Ally utilizes AI-driven sentiment analysis and manual reviews of chat transcripts to ensure these standards are met and the community remains safe.
• Consequences: Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in a formal warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform without a refund, at the sole discretion of EWIS+ Ally.

While EWIS+ Ally facilitates professional connections, your physical safety is paramount. In accordance with California’s platform “Duty of Care” standards, we require all users to follow these safety protocols for any offline meetings:

• Public Space Requirement: Always schedule initial meetings in a well-lit, busy public location (e.g., a cafe, library, or coworking space).
• Share Your Status: Before meeting, notify a trusted contact of the time, location, and the name/LinkedIn profile of the person you are meeting.
• Identity Verification: Upon arrival, confirm that the individual matches their “LinkedIn Verified” professional profile. Do not proceed with the meeting if there is a discrepancy.
• Transportation Independence: Always provide your own transportation to and from the meeting. Do not accept private rides from a new contact for the first meeting.
• Trust Your Instincts (No-Questions-Asked Exit): If at any point an interaction feels uncomfortable, inappropriate, or unsafe, you are encouraged to leave immediately.
• Immediate Reporting: Report any safety concerns, harassment, or suspicious behavior immediately to safety@elevatewomeninstem.com.
